COVID 19 Vaccine Eligibility



Texas residents meeting Phase 1A or Phase 1B requirements are eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine under the Texas Department of State Health and Human Services directives. Phase 1A consists of frontline healthcare workers and residents in long-term care facilities. Phase 1B consists of anyone age 65 or older and/or 16 years of age or older with at least one chronic medical condition that puts them at increased risk. Examples of conditions include, but are not limited to, cancer, kidney disease, COPD, heart conditions, pregnancy, obesity, sickle cell disease or diabetes. This includes essential workers with at least one chronic medical condition. Contact your healthcare provider or pharmacy for information on appointments or to be placed on a waitlist to receive the vaccine.
