A combination of very low RH values ranging from the single digits to the teens along with moderate northwesterly winds with gusts ranging from 15 to 25 mph will lead to near critical fire weather conditions, mainly to the west and north of the I-35/37 corridor through the remainder of this afternoon and into the early evening. Residents are urged to exercise care with respect to all outdoor activities that could inadvertently cause wildfires. Report wildfires quickly to the nearest fire department or law enforcement office.
