CPS Energy Disconnect Update

After more than a year of suspending disconnects for nonpayment, CPS Energy will resume normal collection activities beginning in September 2021 for large business customers and beginning in October 2021 for residential and small business customers. Customers are eligible for disconnection anytime between 42 to 64 days after their bill is issued. If you experience financial hardship and need payment assistance, call CPS Energy at (210) 353-2222 to set up a payment plan or determine if you qualify for Assistance Programs that are available to supplement utility bill payments for qualified participants.
