Due to the Cold Weather, the City of San Antonio will open six overnight Resilience Hubs starting at 6pm on Monday, January 20, 2025. These locations will provide basic needs and supplies, shelter from the severe cold, access to power and device charging, and free wi-fi. Anyone arriving at these shelters should bring clothes, supplies, and medicine. Kennels will be available for pets at a separate area at these locations. VIA will be providing free rides to or from these locations. Riders should alert the bus operator when boarding or the reservation agent when using VIATrans.
Additionally, Bexar County will open five overnight shelters starting at 7pm on January 20. To find your nearest City Resilience Hub, Bexar County overnight shelter, or temporary overnight shelter for people experiencing homelessness call 3-1-1 or 210-207-6000.
