Space Heater Safety:

Always place space heater on a nonflammable, hard and level surface.

Give the heater at least a 3ft radius.

Keep kids and pets away from heaters.

Never leave a space heater running while you are away or sleeping.

Have working smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors on every level of the home.

Plug directly into a wall outlet, avoid using extension cords.
