EXTREME COLD WARNING IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM SATURDAY TO NOON
MONDAY
Dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 degrees below zero
possible over parts of the Hill Country and southern Edwards
Plateau late Saturday night into early Sunday morning and late
Sunday evening through Monday morning. Forecast wind chills for
the rest of the area range from the single digits to the teens.
The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 5 degrees
below zero could result in hypothermia or frostbite on exposed
skin if precautions are not taken. Extreme cold will become life
threatening and likely damage unprotected pipes and put livestock
at risk.
Dress in layers including a hat, face mask, and gloves if you must
go outside.
